Comma Commentary

I'm not interested in the commas in my account As an indicator of where I'm at; I'm more interested in leaving behind a record With commas littered about its paragraphs; A cartographer battling daily with good and evil, choosing between a pair of maps.

I don't want to be in Devilish pact, Over making a Godly impact; I would rather take a compass due north that’s cracked Than sit at a crossroads on an undecided path, Cause I'm doomed to repeat similar mistakes in the future If I don't learn from my past.

And if you ask, About the quality of my breaths  In what I am tasked, I’d say Without living water to top it off, I’m always left with a half-empty glass.
